Is Windows 2003 Server supported by BusinessVision32?
Yes, Windows 2003 Server is supported by BusinessVision 32 v6.20 or higher.
Where can I find the installation for the Pervasive Workgroup Engine?
The installation for the Pervasive Workgroup Engine is located in the PVSW folder on
the BusinessVision32 installation CD.
I have several BusinessVision32 installation CD's, how do I identify the
version?
To determine the BusinessVision product version on the CD, browse the CD in Windows
explorer and locate a file named versiom x.xx, e.g. 6.15
A check did not print properly due to a printer problem, how do I reprint the
check?
As checks can not be re-printed, you'll need to void the original check then
re-issue it.
To avoid this in the future, we recommend changing your printer settings so
that the check first prints to the screen. In this way one can confirm the
check has printed correctly before closing the report preview window.
Can I reverse the purge or bring forward functions?
Results of the purge and bring forward function can not be reversed. We strongly
recommend that you backup your data before performing either operation.
How do I reprint a packing slip for an open order?
To re-print a packing slip for an open order, load the order and remove the
asterisk(*) from the Ship Via field. Once you have done this, the system will allow you to print the packing slip again.
How do I reprint an issued purchase order?
From the Purchase Order module click on the fullscreen
icon (located in the upper right hand corner), highlight the purchase
order you wish to re-print and from the toolbar click View Purchase
Order icon (3rd icon from the right). Click the re-print button to
re-print the purchase order.
How do I increase the selling price for all my inventory items?
To increase the cost or selling price for all inventory tiems, reorganize the
inventory file. During the reorganize process, you will be asked if you
wish to alter the cost or selling prices by percentage.
How do I enable Inventory Receipt Tracking?
To enable Inventory Receipt Tracking, alter the Next Receipt
number in System Setup. |
